With no time to wait for help, Julian broke a window to get them to safety, severely injuring himself in the process.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"709\">\u201cBy 6 o\u2019clock my husband was dead,\u201d Christina said. \u201cHe looked at me and the kids and said, \u2018Sorry I\u2019m not going to make it. I love y\u2019all.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"836\">Julian\u2019s actions saved his entire family, but he died from blood loss. \u201cHe gave everything so we could live,\u201d said Christina.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"1057\">At least 82 people have died in the historic floods, including 28 children. Kerr County, where Julian lived, was among the hardest hit.
