Robin Kaye, acclaimed music supervisor for American Idol<\/em>, and her husband, Thomas Deluca, were found dead in their Encino home on Monday in what LAPD is investigating as a double homicide. Officers discovered their bodies, both with apparent gunshot wounds, after a welfare check was prompted by family concerns.<\/p>\n

Blood was found near the front door, and police forced entry through a window. The couple was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspects have been identified, and the motive remains unclear.<\/p>\n

Just days earlier, police had responded to the same home after a report of an attempted break-in involving an armed suspect. No forced entry was found at that time, and it’s unknown if the incidents are connected. Surveillance footage is under review.<\/p>\n
