The investigation began after the disappearance of Monk Arch from Bangkok\u2019s Wat Tri Thotsathep temple. Police traced the case to Wirawan and found over 80,000 pornographic files at her home, including explicit videos involving monks and officials. She allegedly used the footage to extort money and claimed to have had children with some victims.<\/p>\n
Authorities believe much of the money funded her online gambling addiction. Monk Arch was reportedly targeted with a false pregnancy claim and pressured for 7.2 million baht ($222,000).<\/p>\n
