It\u2019s like being on a boat,\u201d the 76-year-old told Bill Maher on the <em data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"398\">Club Random<\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"600\">He noted the condition sounds worse than it feels: \u201cThey keep calling it a brain disorder, but I feel fine.\u201d Joel also joked he once thought the balance issues were due to his heavy drinking.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"851\">Though he canceled several concerts in May after doctors advised rest and physical therapy, Joel clarified his condition is \u201cstill being worked on\u201d and not yet resolved. NPH causes fluid buildup in the brain, affecting hearing, vision, and movement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"1042\">His wife Alexis shared they\u2019re grateful for the swift diagnosis and hopeful for recovery.
