Karine, 33, from Brazil, was diagnosed with a rare, incurable condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum at age 3. It makes her extremely sensitive to UV rays, requiring her to wear SPF 100 sunscreen even indoors. Just a few minutes of sun can cause painful lesions, which have led to over 130 surgeries, including the removal of parts of her face.<\/p>\n
