{"id":7723,"date":"2025-08-29T11:42:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T11:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/albotips.com\/?p=7723"},"modified":"2025-08-29T11:42:16","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T11:42:16","slug":"tragic-update-on-5-year-old-girl-sucked-into-storm-drain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/albotips.com\/?p=7723","title":{"rendered":"Tragic update on 5-year-old girl sucked into storm drain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"152\"><strong data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"152\">Tragic Accident Claims Life of 5-Year-Old Zaria Miller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"154\" data-end=\"335\">On Sunday evening, 5-year-old Zaria Miller was playing with her brothers near a culvert on Bahia Vista Street in Sarasota when she was swept into a storm drain by fast-moving water.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"485\">Carried nearly 100 yards through the drainage system, she was rescued by firefighters and taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"631\">Assistant Fire Chief Tim Dorsey called the rescue \u201chigh-risk,\u201d and the case remains under investigation by the Sarasota County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"739\">A neighbor recalled the chaos: \u201cAll of a sudden, I heard shouting \u2014 one of the girls had been swept away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"830\">The community rallied around Zaria\u2019s family, and a GoFundMe was launched to support them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"975\">Sadly, on Thursday, her family shared that Zaria had passed away, writing: \u201cShe has received the ultimate healing and is in the arms of Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1069\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">They thanked everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this heartbreaking time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1069\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-175068\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/08\/29075237\/zaria1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"727\" height=\"878\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tragic Accident Claims Life of 5-Year-Old Zaria Miller On Sunday evening, 5-year-old Zaria Miller was playing with her brothers near a culvert on Bahia Vista Street in Sarasota when she was swept into a storm drain by fast-moving water.
