One unforgettable story from Season 7 was Jeanne Covey from Texas. Weighing 600 pounds at the start, Jeanne’s health was in critical condition. Her life had been shaped by a traumatic childhood and emotional eating, and by age 40, she weighed 700 pounds.<\/p>\n

Jeanne lived in an unhygienic home with her aging parents and was entirely dependent on them. Her mom, Barbara, did her best to help and brought Jeanne to Dr. Now\u2019s clinic in Houston. Motivated to change, Jeanne began eating healthier, hoping to qualify for gastric bypass surgery.<\/p>\n

But tragedy struck\u2014while in Houston, Jeanne\u2019s father unexpectedly passed away. Devastated, Jeanne and her mother decided to drop out of the program. At her last weigh-in, Jeanne had lost 32 pounds.<\/p>\n

Though she didn\u2019t complete the show\u2019s treatment, Jeanne continued her journey privately. On Facebook, she shared updates, revealing that by 2020 she had dropped to 388 pounds and was living a more active life. She later moved to Arkansas, found love, and began a new chapter with her mom and their dogs.<\/p>\n

Despite the setbacks, Jeanne\u2019s progress has inspired many. Her story remains one of the most emotional in My 600-lb Life<\/em> history.<\/p>\n
