\u201cPeople have such outdated notions about age-appropriate fashion,\u201d Cima told TODAY<\/em>. \u201cThat needs to change.\u201d<\/p>\n Cima, a grandmother of 11, styled a brown knit dress with a sweater. While many admired her look, others left harsh comments, calling the outfit unflattering or inappropriate for her age.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s perfectly appropriate to have wrinkled skin at 76, and I\u2019m not ashamed of it,\u201d Cima said. \u201cShould I cover my face too, because I have wrinkles there?\u201d<\/p>\n She launched her fashion blog in 2019 to challenge stereotypes about aging and style.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve been conditioned to cover up as we age, but that\u2019s outdated thinking,\u201d she said. \u201cWe need to shift how we see aging in a modern world.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the negativity, Cima remains focused on empowering women:
