At least five people were killed and seven seriously injured in a shooting attack that took place at the hands of a Palestinian gunman in Jerusalem, paramedics and police shared.<\/p>\n

Israel\u2019s Magen David Adom ambulance services shared more details about the deceased, including identification of the dead as three men in their 30s and a female in her 50s, and one man in his 50s. Nine others were brought into the ER with serious gunshot wounds, and three more were covered with glass.<\/p>\n

Israel police shared how two terrorists ended up opening fire towards the bus stop at Ramot Junction, which is located on the city\u2019s northern outskirts.<\/p>\n

A security officer and a civilian returned fire and neutralized the situation involving the attackers.\u00a0There was no immediate claim from any armed groups, but Hamas did appear online to praise the attack, sources shared.<\/p>\n

The police shared more details about how a huge number of officers were securing the area and that a bomb disposal unit was making sure that it was safe while forensic teams gathered evidence.<\/p>\n
