Speaking at a human resources convention in San Diego, Biden surprised attendees by saying he continues to serve as an informal advisor. \u201cI\u2019m getting calls\u2026 from a number of European leaders asking me to get engaged,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m not [getting involved], but I\u2019m giving advice.\u201d<\/p>\n
A video shared by Democratic strategist Chris Jackson shows Biden speaking in a subdued, occasionally rambling tone, shifting from soft to impassioned. \u201cIf America doesn\u2019t lead the world, who can?\u201d he asked.
