A loving bride-to-be was killed by a drunk driver in a wrong-way crash, just weeks before marrying her college sweetheart.<\/p>\n

The victim was identified as a 23-year-old from Oklahoma who passed away in a head-on crash with a wrong-way driver just days before her big day.<\/p>\n

Katelyn Callahan and Tristen Cherry were on their way when they met with the accident on the I-44 near Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when, all of a sudden, a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old named Sergio Ibarra entered the highway in the wrong direction and slammed right into them, head-on, as per reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n

Callahan was pronounced dead on the scene while her lover and others were hospitalized in critical condition.<\/p>\n

The pair was said to be driving back home from the Calf Fry Festival in Stillwater at the time of the deadly incident.<\/p>\n

Authorities alleged that Ibarra was intoxicated during the time of the accident and will now face charges linked to first-degree manslaughter and three counts of DUI causing great bodily injury.<\/p>\n
