A woman in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, had all four limbs amputated after being mauled by two pit bulls while riding her bike. Janelle Scott was attacked around 11 p.m. on September 9 while visiting a friend, whose dogs had escaped. Her boyfriend was initially too far to help but managed to kill one of the dogs.<\/p>\n
Scott suffered catastrophic injuries and was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital, where doctors amputated both arms and legs. Her mother, Cheryl Scott, says she\u2019s devastated but tries to stay strong for her daughter, who faces more surgeries.<\/p>\n
The dogs\u2019 owner was in jail at the time, and the person left in charge was cited. A GoFundMe has been launched, with the family asking for prayers and support.<\/p>\n
