Seven years ago, animal behaviorist Kevin Richardson rescued two lion cubs, Meg and Amy, from drowning after being abandoned by their mother. Without him, they likely would\u2019ve died or fallen to poachers. Instead, they grew up under his care, forming an unbreakable bond.<\/p>\n
\u201cMeg and Amy are kind of my soulmates,\u201d Kevin says. \u201cLike people, you only truly connect with a few.\u201d<\/p>\n
Known as the \u201cLion Whisperer,\u201d South African-born Kevin has dedicated his life to protecting wild animals. In a recent mini documentary, he searches for Meg and Amy, now living in the wild and hunting instinctively\u2014despite never learning as cubs.<\/p>\n
When Kevin approaches them, the lions initially react aggressively. But then, something incredible happens.<\/p>\n
