There are countless reasons why someone might want to lose weight\u2014health, clothing sizes, or social pressure.<\/p>\n
For 16-year-old Australian Josie Desgrand, it was Instagram. Weighing 280 lbs and unhappy with her body, she constantly compared herself to the slim models in her feed. Past diet attempts had failed, leading to more frustration and junk food.<\/p>\n
One day, she had enough. Josie stripped down to her underwear, took progress photos, and promised herself: \u201cNo longer fat Josie.\u201d She started tracking her measurements, set small goals, and adopted a low-carb, no-sugar diet with increased water intake.<\/p>\n
With support from her dad, who also joined her journey, she dropped to 198 lbs through dieting alone. Later, she added gym workouts to push further.<\/p>\n
