Most married couples are asked when<\/em> they\u2019ll have kids \u2014 but for Charli and Cullen Worgan, the question was often why<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Sydney couple, who both have different forms of dwarfism, faced public scrutiny \u2014 especially when Charli became pregnant with their first child. After their daughter was born, Charli started sharing their family life on social media to educate others. Her Instagram quickly grew to over 300,000 followers.<\/p>\n

Now parents to three children, Charli recently opened up about the emotional challenges of pregnancy. Because of their genetic conditions, each baby has four possible outcomes: average height, inheriting Charli\u2019s form of dwarfism, inheriting Cullen\u2019s, or inheriting both \u2014 the last being fatal.<\/p>\n

At 12 weeks, instead of celebrating, Charli underwent Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), a risky procedure to test her baby\u2019s genetics. She shared the heartbreaking wait to find out if she could bring her baby into the world.<\/p>\n

Charli has faced criticism for having children despite the odds but continues to advocate for kindness and understanding.<\/p>\n

In February, she and Cullen welcomed their third child, Rip. Reflecting on motherhood, Charli wrote: \u201cI\u2019m tired but ever so grateful. There\u2019s no \u2018right\u2019 or \u2018wrong\u2019 way to do motherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through her story, Charli reminds others that her life as a parent \u2014 full of challenges and joy \u2014 is much like anyone else\u2019s.<\/p>\n
