Texas Governor Gregg Abbott is not keen on welcoming any New Yorkers into his state of Texas.
Sharing a new and shocking post, he vowed to introduce a 100% tariff policy for citizens starting midnight, if they opt to migrate to Texas, if communist candidate Zohran Mamdani wins.

He continued to share how it’s about time NYC took matters into their own hands and faced the reality of being destroyed, if they opt to elect the wrong candidate which appears to be Mamdani in his opinion.
“You are not welcome here. Save your city before it’s too late”- he requested all voters to act urgently before it’s too late.
The post went viral after being shared on the X social media account today. Many called out the governor for siding with Cuomo.
Others felt the call was a little harsh, while some felt a reality check was needed to ensure Texas remains safe from NYC citizens entering as a means of fleeing their own state. Whatever the case might be, Abbott did share how strongly he felt that Mamdani was a frontrunner, as mentioned in recent polls.
