A woman from Scotland admitted to faking her entire pregnancy, leaving the world stunned.
22-year-old Kira Cousins spoke about how she wanted to try and pass off a lifelike doll as her newborn child. She wore a prosthetic baby bump, posted ultrasound scans, and pictures online. She even held a gender reveal party to bolster the illusion.

After the supposed birth of a girl named Bonnie Leigh Joyce, she presented what was in fact a realistic silicone or reborn doll to both family and friends.
Suspicion mounted when the baby never cried and she just would never let anyone hold the infant. Friends and family members started to grow very suspicious on this matter.

The fact that the baby never cried also had them wondering what is going on. Some days, the mother would act like the child was vey sick, on the verge of being critically ill and constantly visiting clinics.
The hoax soon collapsed when her mother discovered the doll in her room. This made her confess the truth on social media, leaving so many people in shock and awe. “I was not pregnant. There was no baby. I made it up, I kept it going way too far”- the post read.
