A family of three was reportedly found dead inside a resort hotel room in Colombia.
The incident took place after they had requested staff to be moved into a different unit, due to a foul odor.
The remains of Tito Martinez and his four-year-old son were found on the bed, while his wife was found on the floor inside the room at the Portobello Hotel in San Andres last Friday.
The victims’ heartbroken father shared how he found the bodies and explained how the entire matter is so suspicious, as it took place after his daughter had requested a new room after checking in.
‘My daughter, since the first night, asked to change rooms because there was a nasty smell coming from there’- Orlando shared. Then he mentioned how they spoke to the management, but they claimed that no smell existed.
The very next day, she kept on insisting, until what happened happened, he shared.
After several attempts to get a response from the room by knocking, the father returned to his own room and explained to his wife that he was so concerned as no response was coming. So that’s when he rushed to the front desk for more assistance.
The hotel staffer shared how they would no longer be providing access to this room despite the father putting pressure on them. That’s when a female staffer finally agreed and decided to escort them. That is when they found the victims dead. Investigations are now taking place to determine what happened as the hotel’s staff is interrogated by the police.
