Barron Trump’s Life and Public Reactions
Barron Trump is building his own life in New York City while studying at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Meanwhile, his father, President Donald Trump, continues to make global headlines.
After Trump ordered airstrikes on three nuclear sites in Iran, critics pointed out that neither he nor his family have ever served in the military—despite often praising it. Trump himself avoided the Vietnam draft due to bone spurs, later saying the condition “healed up.”
Following the strikes, social media users called for Barron to enlist in the U.S. Army, arguing that if Trump starts wars, his son should serve first. Some even suggested making it mandatory for presidents’ children to join the military during wartime.
Rumors later circulated online claiming Barron had been rejected by top universities like Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford. However, First Lady Melania Trump’s office denied the claims, confirming Barron never applied to Harvard.
Donald Trump has also clashed with Harvard, accusing the university of antisemitism and favoring international students amid campus protests over the Israel–Hamas conflict.
