Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a 25-year-old tennis player who was shot dead by her father after he was mocked for living off her expenses.
The incident took place recently in India when the former national-level player was shot dead by her own dad at the luxury home in India after he was humiliated by villagers for living off her success.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Radhika Yadav, who was shot dead while she was busy cooking breakfast inside her kitchen at the Gurugram Duplex. This was located just outside of Delhi during the morning hours of Wednesday.
Her dad fired a shocking five bullets from his licensed weapon, three of which struck her back and tore through her, as per the cops.
The incident has left the entire nation in shock as the young athlete was rushed to a nearby hospital by her uncle and cousin, but doctors claimed she was dead upon arrival.
Police shared how they had confessed to the killing, claiming she was so depressed and under pressure at the time, and so ashamed after neighbors in the village taunted him for relying on his daughter’s earnings and her lifestyle.
