The former Duke of York, Andrew, has been accused of bringing in prostitutes into Buckingham Palace for years, according to leading historian Andrew Lownie in his latest book, which is titled The Rise and Fall of the House of York.
The claim is that the palace employees reportedly raised concerns, only to be silently rebuffed or threatened with reassignment if they spoke out.

The historian asserts that the late Queen Elizabeth II was aware of the conduct but enabled it, because Andrew was her favorite son.
One especially striking allegation had to do with how Lownie says that during the hotel stay in Thailand, Andrew had as many as 40 prostitutes delivered to his room.
The report added how this behavior was very in line with the allegations about his strong links to convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein.
This entailed claims by accuser Virginia Giuffre that she was forced to have intimacy with Andrew when she was only a minor at the age of 17.

In reply to that, Buckingham Palace did not issue a substantive comment linked to the latest allegations. The revelations come at a time when Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and privileges by the newly reigning King Charles III amid growing pressure around his credibility and past actions.
