Mary Trump is opening up about her uncle and President Donald Trump.
She did not hesitate one bit when asked why she believes Trump is in cognitive decline. In a shocking interview, she mentioned that Trump’s late older brother, Fred Trump Jr., rolled out the clearest case she’s ever made that the president is exhibiting the same signs she once witnessed in her father. The latter is said to have suffered from Alzheimer’s for a very long time.
The older Trump was diagnosed with mild senile dementia in 1991. His doctor cited symptoms of obvious memory decline in recent times and serious memory impairment. Years later, he was hospitalized with pneumonia and passed away at the age of 93 on June 25, 1999.
The whole chat started when Mary was questioned during a recent interview about her family’s history related to dementia. Mary’s grandad and grandmother both had this. She shared how she’s a clinic psychologist, not a neurophyschologist, but she mentioned that she’s aware of certain kinds of neurological disorders, such as this one.
She added that what she sees in Trump is unmistakable. ‘There are times that I look at him and I see my grandad’- Mary mentioned. She added that it’s a look of confusion and not usually linked to time and place. In the end, she also mentioned how his short-term memory is in decline, and each day, it seems to be getting worse.
