Mandy Moore has left her fans in shock with her unrecognizable appearance after suffering from a heartbreaking incident.
The star shot to fame as a teen pop idol before transitioning into a successful acting career. As an actor, she led one of the most critically acclaimed television dramas of the past decade and starred alongside a number of A-listers such as Robin Williams, Dwayne Johnson, and Diane Keaton.
But longtime fans were having a lot of trouble recognizing Mandy Moore when she stepped out of the Inspiration Awards in Hollywood last month.
The Candy singer appeared slimmer in the face than usual and wore a different makeup style than what her fans were used to. The star had nearly completed renovating her home she shared with her family when the California wildfires broke out on January 7 amid strong winds. While the structure of their home was still intact, the celeb explained in the past that belongings inside are a near total loss due to the surrounding fires.
Instead of the usual soft pinks and nudes that she favored in her usual lipstick shades, Moore went for a bright red lip and a dramatically dark eye and brow.
She chose to keep her outfit simple and classic, and paired this with a cream blouse draped over her slender frame and a black miniskirt. Social media users did not hold back on Moore’s latest look, with one writing that they refused to believe that this is the star because of how dramatic the change was. Another added that it’s not even the signs of ageing that surprise her.
