Rising Latin music star DELAROSA, 22, has died after an ambush-style shooting in Los Angeles. The No Me Llames singer was attacked early Saturday, November 22, while sitting in a parked car in Northridge. Two others were critically injured.
Witnesses told LAPD that two men approached the vehicle around 1:25 a.m. and opened fire, shooting all three passengers. Police believe it was a targeted hit.
DELAROSA, who had over 40,000 Instagram followers, was rushed to a hospital but did not survive. She rose to fame after releasing her debut single No Me Llames in August and hinted at new music in her last post on October 30.
No arrests have been made. Fans online are calling the attack “personal” and “a planned hit.”
Rest in peace, DELAROSA — gone far too soon at just 22.
