Aging is certainly no joke, and now former American talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is breaking her silence after getting diagnosed with three leading illnesses.
This includes OCD, osteoporosis, and ADHD. The 66-year-old Emmy-winning star mentioned more about her health while discussing the topic of ageing with her latest comedy special dubbed ‘For Your Approval’, which dropped on Netflix on Tuesday.
DeGeneres mentioned that she only received the diagnosis after she left her long-running daytime talk show following a spate of allegations that surfaced in the year 2020, right after accusing the star of running a very toxic workspace.
The celeb mentioned that she has full-on osteoporosis, which is a condition impacting the bones and causing them to get so weak and more likely to fracture. This was confirmed after she took a bone density test. She joked about how she’s now like a human sandcastle that might disintegrate at any time.

In situations where the osteoporosis was not bad enough, she shared that she was also diagnosed with arthritis. ‘I had excruciating pain one day, and I thought I ended up tearing a ligament or something, and then I got my MRI done, and they said it’s arthritis, but a bad one. I wondered to myself how I got this, and the doctor said that it’s very normal for my age’- the star continued.
