At least four people were killed, and more than 10 others were injured in a mass shooting incident that took place at a young girl’s birthday party in Stockton, California, on Saturday night.
Sources shared that the gunman is still on the loose, and amongst those killed were two children.
The shooting allegedly occurred at Monkey Space, which is a giant banquet hall in the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue near Dairy Queen.

The incident broke out right before 6 pm inside the banquet hall on the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue, which is located near Thornton Rd in Stockton, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, as per the spokesperson of the location.
This is said to be a very active and ongoing investigation, and data remains limited. Early indications suggested that this might be a targeted incident, and investigators are now exploring all the possibilities. Detectives are said to be actively working to determine how the circumstances led to this massive tragedy.

The victims are yet to be identified but were said to belong to the 8 to 22-year age bracket. Those shot were rushed to nearby hospitals, and their current conditions are yet to be known.
