Actress Angelina Jolie was seen sharing her displeasure with America when traveling overseas to promote her upcoming movie.
The celeb did not hold back when it came down to speaking her mind about the USA. Jolie shared how America is just not what it used to be and she finds it hard to recognize the nation in these difficult current times.
Speaking at Spain’s Sebastian Film Festival, she promoted her latest movie, Couture but dived right into how sad she is about how things have played out.
The star says she knew that she’d be asked such questions, and she was prepared for it.
‘I have always lived internationally. My friends and family, as well as my life, are all international. My worldview is equal, united, and also international’- she continued.
Then she mentioned how anything that divides or limits personal expressions and freedom from anyone is certainly very dangerous- the star continued.
“These are some serious times that we are going through, and you really need to be careful not to say things so casually. These are some very heavy times that we happen to be living in together,” the star added.
Jolie did not pin the divisions in America on either side of the debate but Jolie has aligned herself with the left wing causes throughout her career. She also shared more about serving as the Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHC for Refugees from 2001 to 2012. And also between 2012 to 2022.
