Natalie “Octomom” Suleman became famous in 2009 for giving birth to the first surviving octuplets, joining her six older children to make a family of 14. Her pregnancies, all via IVF with Dr. Michael Kamrava, stirred controversy after she claimed he implanted more embryos than she agreed to; Kamrava’s license was later revoked for “gross negligence.”
Suleman’s fame led to unconventional work, including stripping, adult films, and boxing, while financial struggles prompted a 2012 bankruptcy and a 2014 welfare fraud misdemeanor.
Since then, she has stepped away from the spotlight, working as a counselor and occasionally doing photoshoots, relying on public assistance to support her family.
Her octuplets turned 16 on January 26, 2025, and Suleman celebrated them on Instagram, expressing pride and gratitude for their lives and the journey they’ve shared.
