Most couples are asked when they’ll have children, but for Charli Worgan and her husband Cullen, the question was often “why.” Both have different forms of dwarfism and faced public scrutiny, especially when Charli became pregnant.
After the birth of their first daughter, Charli started sharing their family life on social media to educate others, and her account quickly gained a large following. Today, she has over 300,000 followers and is a mom of three.
Each pregnancy was emotionally difficult due to genetic risks. Their children could be average height, inherit one parent’s dwarfism, or inherit both conditions—an outcome doctors say would be fatal. Because of this, Charli endured painful genetic testing, unable to enjoy pregnancy milestones like most moms.
Despite criticism for choosing to have children, Charli openly shared how complex and emotional their decisions were, emphasizing kindness and understanding.
Now, with three thriving children—including baby boy Rip—Charli continues to share both the struggles and joys of motherhood, reminding others there is no single “right” way to be a parent and that her family’s journey is, at heart, just like any other.
