Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, has died at age 34 after a suspected drug overdose. She was found unresponsive at the Fairmont San Francisco on New Year’s Day and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3 a.m., according to police and emergency responders.
911 dispatch audio described the call as a possible overdose, and despite CPR efforts by hotel staff and paramedics, she could not be revived. The San Francisco medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.
Victoria was discovered by a hotel guest on the 14th floor, who initially thought she had passed out. Authorities confirmed no further details have been released.
She was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, and appeared in several acting roles as a child, including Men in Black II, One Tree Hill, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by her father.
In the past year, Victoria had faced multiple legal issues related to drug charges and domestic disputes. Tommy Lee Jones, an Academy Award–winning actor known for films such as The Fugitive and No Country for Old Men, has not yet commented publicly on the tragedy.
