Queen Camilla has opened up about her experience of being indecently assaulted when she was a teen for the first time.
While speaking during a special edition of BBC Radio 4’s Today Program, the Queen shared her assault story during a discussion with the commentator.

Queen Camilla has been a long supporter of victims going through assault, abuse, and domestic violence, and it’s been a part of her public work for years.
Camilla recalled her own assault and how she was attacked as a teen on a train. She did forget about it, but whenever she recalls it, the whole scenario makes her so angry.

The Queen recalled how she got off the train, and her mother looked at her so angrily and mentioned, ‘Why is your hair standing on end, and why is a button missing from your coat?’
“I recall the attack and how there was so much anger in me. It lurked on for many years,”- she mentioned.
