Sean Swayze, the younger brother of late Hollywood star Patrick Swayze, has died at age 63. His death was confirmed by his son Jesse, who said Sean passed away in Los Angeles on December 15. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as complications from cirrhosis of the liver.
Sean is survived by his daughter Cassie and sons Kyle and Jesse. Family members shared emotional tributes, remembering him as fun-loving and full of life.
Though not as famous as his brother, Sean worked as a character actor and film crew member. His passing comes 16 years after Patrick Swayze’s death in 2009 and adds to a long history of loss within the Swayze family.
