President Donald Trump shared recently how he’s chosen to disinvite Canada from the Board of Peace, after issuing another email that clearly states the country’s invitation withdrawal.
The incident arose at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland recently, where many leaders and global figures arrived for talks on economics and geopolitics. During the event, Canada’s Mark Carney rolled out a high-profile speech in which he argued more about the longstanding rules-based international order and how it’s no longer working.

He then went on to warn about how powerful nations are increasingly making use of economic tools such as tariffs and supply chains as forms of coercion.
He then suggested that middle powers needed to rethink how they wish to cooperate in a global manner.

The remarks were seen as a direct critique of the US leadership, and they got a standing ovation from many seated in the audience. Trump responded strongly, further claiming that the US has played a strong role in global security and prosperity while bashing Carney’s tone.
