Tragic reports have confirmed the death of TLC reality series star Charity Pierce, who passed away at the age of 50.
The sad news related to the ‘My 600-lb Life’ star was shared by her daughter, Charly Jo, who mentioned the incident on her social media.
She stated how Charity died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, after spending time in hospice care due to ongoing health struggles.
Pierce was said to be dealing with serious medical conditions, including lymphedema and fluid buildup inside her lungs. This might have contributed to her declining health in recent months.
No official cause of death was shared on the matter, but her daughter did express that her mother was ‘finally at peace’.
Charity reportedly rose to national attention in the show’s Season 3, where she started her documented journey battling extreme measures of obesity. There were times when she weighed nearly 800 pounds. Under the guidance of a leading surgeon, she underwent a series of major weight loss and multiple surgeries.
