The Seattle Seahawks crushed the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX with a dominant defensive performance. But after the game, the victory wasn’t the main story — Donald Trump’s reaction to the halftime show was.
Bad Bunny delivered a high-energy, Spanish-language performance at Levi’s Stadium, celebrating Latin culture with a visually stunning set. The show featured appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin and received huge praise from fans and on social media.
Trump, however, was furious. On Truth Social, he called it “one of the worst ever,” claiming it didn’t represent American values and complaining that viewers couldn’t understand the lyrics. He also criticized the dancing as inappropriate and attacked the NFL for allowing the performance.
Though Trump didn’t attend the game, saying it was “too far” to travel, he had already expressed frustration with the lineup beforehand. The show ended with a message on a giant screen: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love,” followed by the words, “Together we are America.”
For many fans, it was inspiring. For Trump, it was “disgusting.”
