A growing number of celebrities are condemning Donald Trump after U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran, accusing him of hypocrisy, recklessness, and pushing the country toward war.
Musician Jack White mocked Trump’s announcement on Instagram, sarcastically criticizing his public image and war stance. Comedian Rosie O’Donnell called out Trump for breaking his campaign promise to avoid foreign wars, while actor Carrie Coon quipped on X about the administration feeling more like a “Department of War.”
Author Stephen King argued only Congress can declare war and urged Trump’s impeachment, also attacking his past draft avoidance. Actor John Cusack suggested the conflict distracts from other scandals, and Mark Ruffalo claimed Trump’s negotiator was sent to ensure war.
