‘Superman’ Star Passed Away At 82!

Valerie Perrine, acclaimed actress known for Lenny and Superman, has died at 82 after a 15-year battle with Parkinson’s disease. She passed peacefully at home on March 23, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Perrine earned an Oscar nomination for Lenny and won a BAFTA for Most Promising Newcomer. Her friend Stacey Souther shared the news and launched a GoFundMe to fulfill her wish to be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
