A federal judge in New York has dismissed most of Blake Lively’s claims in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
Judge Lewis Liman ruled on April 2, throwing out 10 of 13 claims, including sexual harassment and defamation. The harassment claims were dismissed due to jurisdiction issues, as the alleged incidents did not occur in California.
However, 3 claims — breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding retaliation — will proceed to trial, which had been scheduled for May 18.
The case began in 2024, when Lively accused Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios CEO Jamey Heath of inappropriate workplace behavior and a retaliatory smear campaign.
