“Ryan,” Chris said, steady. “How are you?”

“Yes, in the glove compartment. Ben Miller’s trying to kick Mom out.”
Chris guided me through the trust and its life estate clause. “If the deed wasn’t fully disclosed, Ben’s claim is weak. We can challenge it.”
Relief washed over my mother. Chris filed an emergency injunction, assuring us he had it handled.
