If you love teasing your brain with optical illusions, I salute you—I’m hopeless at them myself. A “train your brain” book from my grandma sat untouched from age six to sixteen, and even then, I struggled with the puzzles.
Still, brain teasers are hugely popular online. People enjoy finding hidden things in images, testing memory and observation. Recently, I came across one that stumped me: the “National Leaders Tree.” At first, you spot the two obvious faces at the bottom, but more are hidden throughout the tree.
Apparently, the number of faces you find says something about your memory:
- 2–4 faces: Only the obvious ones; may indicate memory issues.
- 5–6 faces: Moderate memory, some risk of cognitive decline.
- 7–8 faces: Acceptable memory, could improve with practice.
- 9+ faces: Excellent memory and facial recognition.
Try it yourself—count the faces and see what your result says.
