Kasey Grelle, 41, CEO of marketing firm Aux Insights and mother of three, died after a resort tour vehicle overturned in Nicaragua on March 23. Her 11-year-old son, Julian, was critically injured but is now recovering from head, spine, and lung injuries.
Grelle, who lived in St. Louis with her husband Dave and children Julian, Kit, and Des, was a devoted mother and resilient leader. She had overcome personal tragedies, including the loss of both parents in 2016 and her husband’s serious injury, while leading companies through financial challenges and building a successful career in venture capital and entrepreneurship.
