10-year-old Autumn Bushman was once a joyful, fearless girl—but her life ended tragically after months of bullying at school.
Her parents say it began when she stood up for other kids, making her a target. Though they reported it, they believe not enough was done. In her final weeks, Autumn grew quieter, withdrawn, and overwhelmed.
On March 21, she died by suicide at her home in Roanoke, leaving her family and community devastated.
