Alice Hirson, known for roles in Full House and Dallas, has passed away at 95 from natural causes in Los Angeles.
Born in Brooklyn in 1929, she built a long TV career, appearing in 26 episodes of Dallas and as Claire Tanner on Full House. She also played Ellen DeGeneres’ mother on Ellen, notably during the show’s groundbreaking 1997 coming-out episode.
Hirson made guest appearances on popular series and starred in films like Private Benjamin, Revenge of the Nerds, and Being There. She also performed on Broadway and had a decades-long acting career.
She is remembered as a talented and versatile actress.
