A successful lawyer, Steve, realizes his privileged son Luke lacks respect after seeing him rudely yell at a visually impaired bakery worker, Madison, over a small mistake.
To teach him a lesson, Steve makes Luke work a part-time job. Struggling with the difficulty and pressure, Luke understands how hard service jobs are and regrets his behavior. He returns to apologize to Madison and later works alongside her, forming a friendship.
When Luke learns Madison needs costly eye surgery, he asks his father to help. Steve agrees, and after her recovery, they support her in getting a better job as a designer.
In the end, Luke learns the value of kindness, humility, and respecting others regardless of their situation.
