Marie Osmond, who had a ‘different relationship to her brother’, reveals his last words to her before dying!

Posted on April 22, 2026 By admin
Alan Osmond, the eldest brother of The Osmonds and a key figure in their rise to fame, has died at age 76 on April 20, surrounded by his wife Suzanne, his eight sons, 30 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. His death comes a year after the loss of his brother Wayne.

Alan helped shape the group’s success, co-writing hits like “One Bad Apple” and “Crazy Horses,” before stepping away from performing after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Despite his illness, he remained the quiet backbone of the family.

His siblings paid emotional tributes, with Donny praising Alan’s sacrifices and leadership, Merrill recalling their final moments together, and Marie sharing their close sibling bond and his last wish to reunite with their brother Wayne in faith.

Alan is remembered as a devoted family man, creative force, and steady presence who supported the Osmonds both on and off stage.
