She originally worked as a registered nurse before gaining fame in 2007 on TLC’s hit show about raising her sextuplets and twins. After her divorce from Jon Gosselin and years of TV appearances, legal battles, and reduced income, she now works 12-hour shifts as a home health care nurse.
On TikTok, the 50-year-old said she works to support her eight children and cover expenses like college and legal fees, explaining that constant court battles drained much of her earnings. Despite this, she says she finds fulfillment in helping families again.
She recently shared a glimpse of her demanding routine caring for a pediatric patient during long shifts, including medical care, outings, and daily responsibilities.
Gosselin’s last major TV appearance was in 2023 on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and before that she starred in Kate Plus Date in 2019.
