College Football Player Dead At 24 After Leaving Football!

Posted on April 25, 2026 By admin

Jack Pugh, a former tight end for the Wisconsin Badgers football, has died at 24. He passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2026; his cause of death has not been disclosed.

A native of Columbus, Pugh played from 2021–2022 before stepping away from football to focus on his mental health after struggling with depression. Though he didn’t record a catch, he earned his place on the team through determination.

Known for his kindness and positive spirit, he later worked as a plumber and remained close to family and friends. He is survived by his parents, brother, and loved ones, who ask that donations be made to the Columbus Humane Society in his memory.
