Michael Reagan, the eldest son of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, has died at age 80 after a battle with cancer.
Born in 1945 and adopted shortly after birth by Ronald Reagan and actress Jane Wyman, he built his own career as a conservative commentator, author, and radio host of The Michael Reagan Show. He was known for promoting his father’s political legacy and conservative values.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation called him a “steadfast guardian” of his father’s legacy, highlighting his work as a speaker and writer focused on freedom, faith, and personal responsibility.
He is survived by his wife Colleen, their children Ashley and Cameron, and their families.
