Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, actress and former wife of David Hasselhoff, has died at age 61. She was found at her Los Angeles home on March 5 in what authorities believe was a suicide. Her family had gone to check on her after not hearing from her.
A representative for David Hasselhoff said the family was “deeply saddened” and asked for privacy during their grief.
Born in 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pamela worked as an actress in the 1980s and 1990s, with roles in shows like Baywatch, Knight Rider, and The Young and the Restless. She remained a familiar Hollywood figure, often appearing at events.
She married David Hasselhoff in 1989, and they had two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, before divorcing in 2006. Both daughters went on to careers in entertainment. Pamela is survived by them, as well as her granddaughter.
