On her daughter Evelyn’s fifth birthday, Chanel prepares a small celebration with her husband Norton and their close friend Tara. Their home feels full of love after years of heartbreak, miscarriages, and finally adopting Evelyn—a joyful little girl with Down syndrome who became their world after being placed in their care at 18 months old.
